I love basic recipes that you can use to make a variety of dishes with the addition of a few extra ingredients.  It makes Meal Planning much easier and helps to avoid the trap of having loads of food in the cupboards but nothing to make with it.

I've decided to share my favourite basic recipes with 6 variations for each one.  Hopefully this will make cooking for your family easier and be a source of inspiration if you happen to be struggling for tassty meal ideas come meal time.
