Breakfast Club October Round Up

The theme for Breakfast Club in October was "Fruit", thank you to all those who linked up and shared their delicious recipes.  Make a cuppa, sit for a while and check out all the delicious entries.

Louisa from Eat Your Veg shared her recipe for Banana and Sultana Porridge, a great start to the day for kids and adults alike. Perfect for a chilly Autumn morning.

Camilla from Fab Food 4 All, a lovely twitter friend of mine, made this delicious Spelt Danish Apple Ring.  What a lovely treat for breakfast or brunch.

Yeast, cake, bread, danish, traditional, easy

Lucy made Poached Pears and Peaches Brunch which looks amazing and is a fab treat for a leisurely Autumn brunch or pudding.

Louisa from Eat Your Veg also made her Granny's Bara Brith, using her Grandmother's recipe for her second entry, which is a traditional Welsh bread.  I baked the yeasted version and it was delicious so I am keen to try out this super quick recipe that doesn't use yeast.  This loaf is perfect on a cold morning, or any morning for that matter, with a hot cuppa.

Laura from How To Cook Good Food baked this delicious Walnut, Rosemary and Fruit Loaf which would be great with sweet or savoury breakfast dishes, or indeed enjoyed at any time of the day.

Nazima from Franglais Kitchen baked these Gluten Free Chocolate Walnut and Fig Cookies which would definitely be a treat for breakfast, with some fruit and a cuppa.  A fab gluten free treat.

Helen, creator of Breakfast Club made this healthy and delicious Peaches and Green Smoothie for her entry.  A tasty way to make sure you start your day with a good portion of fruit and greens goodness.

Camilla's second entry was this delicious Apple and Pear Cider Spelt Soda Bread, a lovely versatile option which can be served with either jam or cheese for sweet or savoury breakfast options.

Elizabeth from Elizabeth's Kitchen made my mouth water with these Honey Caramelised Figs with Cinnamon and Natural Yoghurt, a quick and delectable breakfast.

We're big fans of porridge for breakfast in our house and I will definitely be trying out Deena's Spiced Papaya, Coconut and Toasted Almond Breakfast Porridge to brighten up one of those days like she had.

There's no excuse not to bake these Easy Breakfast Cookies from Ninja Killer Cat only contain two ingredients, a quick and delicious option to tempt those breakfast skippers.

There's no need to pop into a cafe for breakfast, made these Pear and Cinnamon Danish Pastries from Vohn's Vittles instead.  Quick to whip up and a tasty treat, perfect for a breakfast on the go.

Janet from The Taste Space made a delicious Overnight Oats Parfait with Banana Soft Serve Ice cream which my 3 daughters would definitely love as a breakfast treat.  A decadent but healthy start to the day.

Pravina from Indo Global Food whipped up some Wholewheat Flour and Banana Paratha which her grandchildren love.  I dear say so would mine, it is now on our list of recipes to try.  The Parantha freeze well too, great for a quick breakfast option.
